About the Role

• Coordinate and improve technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers. • Deliver project services that meet client expectations. • Collaborate with area operations, marketing, and project management on business class initiatives. • Participate in practice groups and project teams to improve standards, best practices, and conduct QA/QC reviews. • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation for the business class. • Maintain a visible profile with industry associations and market sector. • Work cooperatively with regional leaders, technical directors, business group managers, and marketing managers. • Provide leadership, organizational, and team‑building capabilities, including mentoring junior staff. • Leverage existing municipal, state, and federal relationships to drive growth. • Apply science and technology to improve reliability of buried infrastructure. • Commit to quality and advancement of HDR’s condition assessment practice. • Maintain a professional or engineering registration and related technical expertise. • Develop and manage diverse teams effectively. • Participate actively in HDR’s employee‑owned culture.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate strong technical writing, client, and project management skills. • Exhibit strong communication, listening, and multitasking abilities. • Hold 10 years of water, wastewater, and stormwater experience, including project management and condition assessment. • Earn a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related professional field. • Bring at least 10 years of relevant experience.
