About the Role
The Production Leader will oversee daily operations to ensure smooth production flow, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires coordinating team activities, managing resources, and reporting performance metrics to management. Successful candidates will complete AAON’s Production Leader Program and take responsibility for guiding a workforce, assigning tasks, and fostering a productive environment. They will work closely with management to align production goals with company objectives. • Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program. • Lead a team, assign tasks, and provide guidance. • Motivate and mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality. • Collaborate with management to ensure production targets are met. • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials according to the production plan. • Monitor and enforce quality control processes to meet established standards. • Investigate and address production and quality issues as they arise. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct safety training and audits. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency improvements. • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. • Coordinate with inventory control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. • Generate regular performance reports on productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics. • Provide regular updates to management on production status and challenges. • Work in manufacturing facilities with exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preferred three years of experience in production or manufacturing. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a 608 universal refrigerant certification. The role demands strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, as well as solid organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software is essential. The position involves regular lifting of up to 50 lb, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks in environments that may include extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, and heavy forklift traffic. It is classified as a safety‑sensitive job and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. • Possess a high school diploma or GED; 3 years of production or manufacturing experience preferred. • Obtain and maintain a 608 universal refrigerant certification. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software. • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. • Exhibit good organizational and time‑management skills. • Able to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
