Design and coordinate structural engineering documents and calculations for projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Review structural documents for conflicts with all disciplines. • Write and edit structural specifications, select procedures, materials and sizes, and perform necessary calculations. • Independently coordinate the structural design team through design development and contract document phases. • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance. • Conduct design development and contract document work sessions on site with the Project Manager and other disciplines. • Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to meet schedule. • Assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, change proposals, and change orders, incorporating agreed changes into project documents.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or BS in Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a structural engineer. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. • Prior structural engineering experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar tools. • Experience working at an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
