About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial role focuses on renting and selling portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and temporary heaters within an assigned territory. The typical customer base includes commercial clients, contractors, and event companies. The representative will cultivate existing accounts, develop new ones, and work closely with the General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turn‑key solutions leveraging Sunbelt’s broad equipment portfolio. Collaboration with sales reps and managers across the organization is essential to maximize market penetration. • Rent and sell portable HVAC equipment (air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, heaters) within assigned territory • Cultivate existing accounts and develop new business across commercial, contractor, and event customers • Collaborate with General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to deliver turn‑key equipment solutions
What You Bring
Ideal candidates possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC, plus at least two years of direct sales experience.
