About the Role

Plan, layout and perform all types of pipe fitting and fabrication work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role may also involve working in other crafts as appropriate to training and skills, under direction from project supervision and higher‑skilled workers or foremen. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Inspect subordinate work for accuracy and compliance, correct deficiencies. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Provide feedback to ensure resources (materials, tools, equipment, information) are available. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards; use trade tools and equipment. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Use telephone/computer/email on a limited basis for communication. • Navigate confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

What You Bring

• Maintain high proficiency in trade mathematics. • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. • Possess required experience: 3‑6+ years in industrial/commercial construction with deep pipefitter knowledge. • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. • Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat). • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist.
