About the Role

• Process complex vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation. • Assign accurate general‑ledger codes, cost centres, and project‑specific accounting attributes to expenses. • Serve as primary point of contact for vendors, resolving inquiries, discrepancies, and disputes. • Prepare and execute vendor payments in compliance with payment terms, internal controls, and company policies. • Reconcile vendor statements and address complex discrepancies promptly. • Lead AP‑related month‑end activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting for the project site. • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, SOX regulations, and industry best practices. • Support internal, external, and compliance audits by providing accurate documentation and timely responses. • Identify opportunities for AP and site workflow improvements and support implementation of enhancements. • Deliver accurate, high‑quality financial information and analysis on demand. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and project data.

What You Bring

The company is hiring a self‑driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage all AP activities for a major on‑site project. The role requires advanced full‑cycle AP expertise, the ability to work independently, and close collaboration with project teams, vendors, and the central Finance function. The specialist will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial processing while supporting ad‑hoc financial analyses for the project. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred). • Possess at least three years of full‑cycle AP experience, preferably in a construction or project‑based environment, with proficiency in AP automation software and advanced Excel.
