Manage and administer engineering/construction subcontracts for FAA T5 projects.

About the Role
• Prepare source lists of qualified subcontractors based on past performance. • Develop and issue Request for Proposal packages and verify their completeness. • Coordinate with internal groups to ensure all necessary data is included. • Evaluate subcontractor responses, assess capability, and negotiate terms. • Issue contracts within delegated authority and incorporate prime contract flow‑down requirements. • Draft subcontract documents, amendments, and ensure appropriate terms and conditions. • Generate reports and contractual correspondence for project management and client. • Maintain accurate tracking records and update subcontractor files, including payment records. • Perform subcontract closeout, complete documentation, and forward files for storage. • Retain hard‑copy reports and claims for seven years. • Act as liaison between subcontractors and procurement personnel.

What You Bring
The role administers one or more standard subcontracts to ensure subcontractors fully meet company and project requirements. The incumbent brings experience and growing proficiency in subcontract administration and must be willing to travel to subcontractor facilities when necessary. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. • Minimum 3 + years experience in procurement/subcontracting for engineering and construction. • Working knowledge of subcontracting processes and relevant PC software. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Effective negotiation abilities. • Ability to meet customer security requirements; background check required.
