About the Role
Join our growing Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Team in the Prairies & North as an Intermediate Acoustics, Vibrations and Noise Specialist or Engineer. You will work on field programs, modelling, assessments, and design for innovative environmental and infrastructure projects, collaborating with leading experts to deliver meaningful outcomes for communities and clients across the region. • Develop and manage noise and vibration field programs, including planning, on‑site equipment setup, monitoring, calibration, and maintenance. • Conduct background research, scientific and engineering calculations, acoustics/noise/vibration modelling, and analysis to support impact studies. • Prepare high‑quality technical reports, figures, and documentation that translate complex data into clear insights. • Contribute to the design of noise and vibration mitigation solutions for major infrastructure and environmental projects. • Lead, mentor, and support junior technicians, scientists, and engineers, building team capability. • Support proposal preparation, client discussions, and project planning with technical expertise. • Foster strong internal and external relationships to ensure client needs are understood and met throughout project delivery. • Solve field and technical challenges creatively and with sound judgment, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.

What You Bring
• Post‑secondary education in engineering, physics, environmental technology, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience. • Practical experience in acoustical monitoring, investigations, and/or modelling on design‑build or environmental projects. • Ability to apply technical knowledge in the field and propose practical, on‑site solutions to evolving conditions. • Comfortable working in both field and office settings, committed to safety, clarity, and quality. • Proficient with MS Office and eager to learn specialized acoustics, noise, and vibration tools. • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders in a consulting environment. • Access to a vehicle with a clean driver’s abstract and flexibility to travel for field assignments.
