About the Role
The role involves overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the batching plant, using computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete, coordinating deliveries with customers, and supervising contractors and hauliers on site. What You Bring
The Plant Supervisor role is based at the concrete plant in Whatley, serving the Tiverton or Taunton area, with a salary of £30,000‑£32,000 dependent on experience and a 45‑hour work week. Full training is provided, so no prior concrete‑production experience is required. During the position you will learn concrete batching and quality‑control techniques, environmental and safety compliance, stock and material management, as well as site supervision and customer‑service skills. • Master concrete batching and quality control • Understand environmental and safety regulations • Strong communication and organisational skills
