About the Role

The Craft Laborer assists other skilled trades on construction sites, providing physical labor while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role supports overall project progress through hands‑on assistance. Key duties involve strict adherence to company safety policies, signaling equipment operators, grading earth, mixing and finishing concrete, assembling mechanical components, applying protective coatings, spraying various materials, caulking, grinding, and operating hand and power tools. The laborer also performs general site assistance, tool maintenance, and may travel to multiple jobsites on short notice. • Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures • Complete all required safety documentation • Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement • Mix concrete or grout using a portable mixer • Position and connect pumps, motors, and mechanical parts • Apply paints or bituminous compounds for surface protection • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean or seal surfaces • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel surfaces • Torque bolts and studs, assemble metal parts, build bolt cages, vibrate concrete, saw lumber, dismantle forms, and use jackhammers • Provide site assistance as needed • Maintain and care for assigned tools • Perform physical labor on construction sites • Travel to different jobsites on short notice • Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures • Maintain precision and adhere to set standards

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED with six to twelve months of construction experience, demonstrate a strong safety mindset, and be able to read technical documents, perform basic math, and understand torque and pressure concepts. They should follow precise instructions, maintain accuracy, and work responsibly within set standards. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete • High school diploma or GED with 6–12 months construction experience • Safety‑conscious, committed to zero‑injury principles • Perform basic two‑digit math and unit conversions • Understand force, pressure, and torque and adjust tools accordingly • Follow written and oral instructions accurately
