Prepare quotations and BOMs for MV/LV switchgear, liaising with sales/engineering

About the Role
• Develop quotations from engineered material takeoffs • Provide consistent, responsive, high‑quality service to customers • Build and maintain relationships with quotation stakeholders • Stay updated on new products, trends, and developments • Coordinate with internal Quote Support Groups to meet schedules and project requirements • Gather information needed for quote preparation • Apply product knowledge to determine specifications and solutions for projects • Analyze customer needs, competition and process feedback • Recommend suitable substitute products when possible • Download specifications and perform plan take‑offs • Take on stretched assignments as needed • Work flexible shifts and support remote US teams • Provide market intelligence as needed • Attend sales meetings and training programs • Interpret front elevation, one‑line and schematic drawings

What You Bring
The position requires close interaction with Sales Engineers, strong documentation of contractual and commercial terms, and an understanding of bid strategies and market conditions. The employee will also support order handoff and adopt new tools to improve efficiency. • Minimal travel may be required • Strong basic knowledge of electrical engineering • Ability to work quickly, learn fast and collaborate as a team player • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Proficient with AutoCAD • Knowledge of low‑voltage switchboard/switchgear tendering, design, installation and application (preferred) • Experience using AutoCAD (preferred) • Familiarity with relays and their functions (preferred) • Understanding of UL standards such as UL 845, UL 508, UL 1558, UL 891 (preferred) • BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or MTech in Power Systems Engineering • Minimum 65 % (or 6.8/10) CGPA from a reputable institution • At least 2 years relevant experience, especially in electrical switchgear (advantageous)
