About the Role
The Service Technician assists in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices. Responsibilities also cover preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, testing systems with electrical and mechanical skills, and maintaining accurate work records. The role includes processing job tickets, supporting installations, delivering and installing cases, and performing minor construction or remodeling tasks while driving the company vehicle safely. • Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintain accurate work and service records; process job tickets and work orders promptly. • Assist with equipment installation, case delivery, and minor construction or remodeling projects. • Operate company vehicle safely and respond to emergency on‑call assignments.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED and EPA certification; a trade‑school certification is a plus. At least five years of commercial refrigeration experience, specifically with CO₂ systems, is required, with experience in supermarkets or convenience stores preferred. Familiarity with single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes is valuable.
