About the Role
The Landscape & Urban Planning Director will lead the Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning discipline across major master‑planning and public‑realm programmes, delivering integrated, sustainable, high‑quality environments that align with client vision and Saudi Vision 2030. This senior role oversees city‑scale masterplans, open‑space networks, streetscapes and placemaking strategies while ensuring coordination with architecture, infrastructure and BIM teams. • Provide strategic leadership for landscape architecture and urban planning across city‑scale masterplans, public realms and mixed‑use developments. • Develop urban frameworks, open‑space networks, streetscapes and placemaking strategies. • Lead design delivery from concept through detailed design, IFC documentation, tender support and construction implementation. • Act as discipline authority for design governance, technical compliance, QA/QC reviews and milestone approvals. • Manage, mentor and grow multidisciplinary teams of planners, landscape architects and public‑realm designers. • Ensure full coordination with architecture, roads, infrastructure, utilities, MEP, sustainability, security and BIM disciplines. • Serve as primary client‑facing lead, handling presentations, workshops, stakeholder engagement and authority approvals. • Champion sustainability, resilience and cultural identity using Mostadam, LEED, WELL, WSUD, native planting and micro‑climate mitigation.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Design or related field. • Minimum 15 + years of experience delivering major urban development and public‑realm projects. • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or director‑level role managing multidisciplinary teams. • Strong experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East with knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals. • Proven capability in design governance, integrated delivery and stakeholder engagement. • Experience on major Saudi giga‑projects and national transformation initiatives. • Professional accreditation (e.g., IFLA, Landscape Institute, RTPI, APA) preferred. • Expertise in sustainability frameworks such as Mostadam, LEED, WELL and ESG‑driven design. • Advanced proficiency with BIM‑enabled landscape delivery tools (Revit, Civil 3D, GIS integration). • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence senior stakeholders and drive world‑class placemaking outcomes.
