About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution machinery. The role also offers opportunities to mentor junior technicians and develop advanced technical skills. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.). • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Maintain inventory records and track department supplies. • Mentor and coach junior technicians to enhance their skills. • Work in confined spaces, heights, dusty or noisy conditions, and on concrete surfaces.

What You Bring
The position requires working flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts up to 12 hours and up to 20% travel. Safety is a priority, and technicians must follow all safety procedures while handling equipment weighing up to 49 lbs and operating in varied environments such as small spaces, heights, and noisy or dusty conditions. This on‑site role is located in Loxley, AL, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. JLL leverages artificial intelligence in the recruitment process to match candidate skills with role requirements, and the company provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports mental, physical, and emotional health. • High school diploma or equivalent; ability to work flexible schedules and weekends. • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive/preventative maintenance. • Associate degree or higher in mechanical/electrical field (preferred). • Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and blueprint/electrical schematic reading. • Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and OEM safety standards. • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Experience in robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance. • Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for 10+ hour shifts.
