About the Role
As Manager at INOPC‑HVDC, you will set group strategy, oversee operations, plan resources, and drive competence and people development while collaborating with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and customers. You will handle analysis and risk management, work on tender calculations and pricing models, and ensure medium to long‑term resource allocation aligns with forecasted tenders and projects in coordination with global teams. The role requires meeting departmental KPIs such as on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield and productivity, achieving financial budgets, reviewing techno‑economic offers, and conducting routine reviews with project, supplier and customer teams. • Define group strategy, oversee operations, and manage resource and competence development. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and customers; act as an internal sounding board. • Perform analysis, risk management, and manage tender calculations and pricing models. • Plan medium‑to‑long‑term resource allocation based on tender and project forecasts with global coordination. • Achieve departmental KPIs (on‑time delivery, FPY, productivity) and meet financial budget targets. • Review and approve techno‑economic offers, assess risks and identify opportunities. • Conduct routine reviews with project, supplier, and customer teams to ensure alignment. • Recruit personnel according to headcount budget and ensure compliance with health, safety, and integrity standards. • Conduct personnel assessments, set performance targets, and implement development and succession plans. • Contribute to unit strategy, develop local roadmaps, and drive operational growth for the organization. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and uphold Hitachi Energy core values.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and at least three years of experience as a line manager or team leader of 15+ staff, preferably in HVDC/FACTS system design, are required, along with strong leadership, intercultural sensitivity and communication skills.
