About the Role
Identifying the source of oscillations is a critical first step in mitigating them during power system operations. In this project, we will create a wide range of oscillation scenarios in a transient stability simulation environment, apply signal processing techniques to characterize the oscillatory behavior, and leverage machine learning methods to analyze and pinpoint the sources of these oscillations. • Develop oscillation scenarios using transient stability simulations. • Apply signal processing techniques to characterize oscillatory behavior. • Leverage machine learning to identify sources of power system oscillations.
