About the Role
The technician will perform daily housekeeping and janitorial duties, including cleaning offices, restrooms, and public areas, removing trash, and maintaining floors by stripping, waxing, burnishing, and scrubbing carpeted and tiled surfaces. The role also requires assisting other service personnel with minor facility repairs and using hand tools and cleaning machinery such as floor sweepers and brooms. • Perform daily housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep offices, restrooms, and public areas clean. • Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of work areas. • Operate hand tools, floor sweepers, brooms, and other cleaning machinery. • Assist with minor facility service repairs as needed. • Follow "Safety First" protocols, including PJHA and observation processes. • Work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends, according to job demands. • Complete accurate time accounting and work order documentation. • Maintain personal tools, safety apparel, and company‑provided uniforms. • Communicate effectively with team members and maintain positive customer relations.

What You Bring
Safety is a top priority, with expectations to follow the PJHA process, observation process, and all company and site safety guidelines. Employees must be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, and adhere to performance expectations and attendance policies. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lb, move continuously for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, operate hand and power tools, and wear a respirator when required. The work environment may involve exposure to mechanical parts, high places, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and loud noise. Applicants should have at least two years of experience in janitorial or custodial work, demonstrating manual dexterity, control precision, and the ability to communicate effectively. Additional skills such as forklift operation and the ability to follow detailed procedures are preferred. • Strip, wax, burnish, and scrub carpeted, tile, and other floor types. • Lift up to 50 lb, climb stairs or ladders, and wear a respirator when required. • Possess at least two years of janitorial or custodial experience (preferred). • Ability to safely operate forklifts or similar vehicles.

Benefits
The position is Janitorial Technician located in Dayton, Ohio, offering up to $18.50 per hour for a schedule of 7 am – 5:30 pm, Sunday through Wednesday. Compensation ranges from $15.73 to $18.50 per hour, with the company guaranteeing at least minimum wage.
