About the Role
The Retail Operations Analyst II role focuses on monitoring and executing day‑to‑day workflow activities and managing medium to complex exception handling while meeting service level agreements for internal and external customers. The analyst will become a subject‑matter expert in assigned business functions, collaborate with team members, project groups, IT, and cross‑functional teams, and support evolving business needs. • Manage high‑volume order‑to‑cash functions including pricing data, billing accuracy, customer enrollment, contract processing, and payment posting. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and regulatory policies while handling vendor and system support. • Investigate and resolve process discrepancies through root‑cause analysis and corrective actions. • Communicate issues and status updates to team members, leads, management, and stakeholders. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, IT, and project groups to support business changes and deliverables. • Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives. • Develop business requirements and participate in User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements. • Maintain knowledge of market tariffs, contractual obligations, and ensure alignment with workflow processes. • Travel as needed for business purposes and attend in‑person training or meetings.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of relevant work experience for Analyst II; higher experience required for Analyst I and III levels. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, macros, and VLOOKUP. • Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work both independently and collaboratively. • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and independent decision‑making. • Experience with CRM or Order‑to‑Cash workflow systems; familiarity with energy industry regulations is preferred. • Knowledge of UDC/ISO/LDC market EDI transactions and SQL/database querying is a plus.
