About the Role
The Painter B will operate paint guns, perform routine maintenance, and organize painting tasks in sequence. Responsibilities include sanding, prepping surfaces for epoxy primer, thinning paints to the correct viscosity, adjusting sprayers for optimal finish and coverage, and maintaining a clean, safe spray booth. Additional duties involve repairing fiberglass using gel coat and resin, applying finish coats, troubleshooting paint reactions, meeting strict deadlines, and adhering to Terex’s zero‑defect quality standards. Forklift operation must follow company policy. • Operate and maintain paint guns, ensuring proper function. • Sand, prep, and apply epoxy primer to surfaces. • Keep spray equipment and booth clean, safe, and in good working order. • Repair fiberglass using gel coat, resin, and apply finish coats. • Identify and resolve paint compatibility and reaction issues. • Meet strict deadlines while adhering to zero‑defect quality standards. • Operate forklifts in compliance with Terex policies. • Work safely in environments with paint fumes. • Participate in 401(k) matching and employee stock purchase plan.
