About the Role
• Author and review strategic procurement and contracting documentation using ASDEFCON suite. • Provide commercial advice for sensitive reports, submissions, and related documents. • Analyse procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies for contract performance. • Translate and apply legal, legislative, and policy compliance obligations. • Coordinate procurement advice, assistance, and services to manage ethics and probity. • Deliver complex procurement activities, including solicitation documents and market evaluations. • Develop contracting correspondence such as change proposals and commercially sensitive reports.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence procurement policies, experience delivering complex procurement activities, and the ability to develop solicitation documents and evaluate market responses. An understanding of the Foreign Military Sales process, experience drafting commercially sensitive reports, and a current Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (or higher) are required, with possible ITAR compliance. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence procurement policies. • Understand Foreign Military Sales process and associated risks and constraints. • Maintain a current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance or higher; comply with ITAR when required.
