Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician assists the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in carrying out corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process, to meet the property’s operational objectives. • Perform routine, corrective, preventative, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance for community common areas and units. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders and ensure timely repairs. • Conduct make‑ready turn events, schedule maintenance tasks, and assist with unit inspections. • Maintain swimming pool cleanliness, chemical balance, and accurate logs. • Execute daily exterior clean‑up, grounds inspection, and hazard identification to ensure safety. • Uphold Asset Living policies, OSHA standards, and hazard communication programs. • Manage inventory of tools and supplies while keeping the maintenance shop organized. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Follow Fair Housing Laws and utilize on‑site software for work order management.
