About the Role
The Practice Lead will manage and expand multi‑discipline water and wastewater teams, oversee treatment projects, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance, and act as a positive mentor to younger staff. Responsibilities include setting strategic goals, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered profitably. • Lead and expand multi‑discipline water/wastewater project teams. • Create and execute a growth vision for the local water resources practice. • Build and maintain strong client relationships with municipalities and agencies. • Develop business plans, set goals, and operate with integrity. • Mentor and transition work to qualified staff while managing projects profitably. • Drive business development efforts and win new work. • Manage and mentor staff, directing resources positively.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least ten years of civil engineering experience in utility water projects, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and a Texas Professional Engineer license. Required skills include business development, strong communication, leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage and mentor staff effectively. • Leverage 10+ years of civil engineering experience in utility water projects. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Texas PE license. • Utilize excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
