About the Role

The position involves overseeing the maintenance of the base’s outdoor areas and ensuring that all work meets established standards. You will also apply structured delivery and inspection plans to guide daily activities. • Supervise grounds and garden maintenance crews. • Conduct inspections and oversee landscape upkeep. • Ensure work complies with Gardens and Grounds standards. • Implement delivery and inspection plans daily. • Obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.

What You Bring

The role commences in February 2026 and is open to candidates from any background, whether you have Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. Ideal candidates will possess horticultural training and practical grounds‑maintenance experience, together with the necessary driver’s licence, Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential. • Hold Certificate III/IV Horticulture or Diploma Landscape Management (desirable). • Demonstrate grounds‑maintenance experience and horticulture expertise. • Possess current open driver’s licence and Australian citizenship. • Exhibit strong work ethic and positive attitude.
