About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing and resident relations for a property. Responsibilities include showing units, qualifying prospects, processing leases, following up on leads, handling resident requests, and contributing to retention initiatives and office upkeep. The position requires daily onsite attendance and collaboration with the management team to meet leasing goals. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify and tour the community. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up. • Complete all leasing paperwork prior to move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Use sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, meet closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan outreach and continuous market surveys/analysis. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Maintain cleanliness of office, common areas, and model unit.

Benefits
Compensation is hourly, ranging from $17 to $19, and includes a comprehensive total rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k) matching, commissions, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. Candidates must have at least a high‑school diploma or equivalent, basic computer proficiency, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working occasional evenings, weekends or overtime.
