Project Manager

About the Role

You will promote Mace’s “Safety first” value by exhibiting visible safety behaviours, sharing lessons learned and using safety moments and the HSW framework to protect staff wellbeing. You will apply technical expertise in local health and safety regulations and champion a diverse, inclusive work environment that supports the wellbeing of your team. You will ensure quality systems are managed in line with service excellence, and you will deliver and manage project plans from inception through design, procurement and construction, meeting agreed milestones. You will coordinate tasks and deliverables with senior project managers and client teams to achieve timely and accurate project delivery. You will manage project budgets, highlighting risks, challenges and mitigation strategies, while supporting the long‑term development of your function or business unit. You will commit to making a positive impact for our people, clients and planet, holding others accountable to Mace values. You will lead design and consultant teams collaboratively to ensure responsibilities are met, and you will manage project teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic KPIs. What You Bring

The role requires proficient knowledge and expertise in the relevant sector or market, a technical qualification or certification appropriate to the project portfolio, and sound expertise in health and safety regulations. You should also understand consultancy, construction, infrastructure and property sectors, including estimating, scheduling, contracts administration, procurement, commercial controls and reporting. Ideal candidates hold or are working towards professional memberships such as MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS or MICE, and have previous project management experience, particularly in construction delivery. A tertiary qualification in a related discipline, an appropriate CSCS (or equivalent) card, and demonstrable intermediate‑level role knowledge are also required. • Possess sector‑specific expertise and relevant technical qualifications. • Demonstrate sound knowledge of HSE (or local) regulations and sector standards. • Hold professional memberships (MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE) or be working towards them. • Have project management experience and construction delivery exposure. • Hold a CSCS (or equivalent) card and relevant tertiary qualifications.
