About the Role
In this role you will work closely with local managers to plan, budget and meet profit‑and‑loss targets while ensuring staffing levels support exceptional customer service. You will monitor operational metrics, drive a growth‑through‑install culture, and coach a team of technical professionals to achieve performance goals. Building partnerships with independent HVAC contractors and third‑party vendors, you will negotiate agreements, oversee cost, quality, safety and productivity metrics, and collaborate with quality, project management, training, HR and regulatory stakeholders to continuously improve performance. You will also ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and strive to exceed install gross margin expectations. • Collaborate with local managers to plan, budget, and achieve P&L targets. • Forecast, update, and execute staffing plans to maximize customer service. • Measure, monitor, and report on operational metrics. • Lead a growth‑through‑install mindset to boost customer satisfaction. • Coach and manage technical professionals to achieve performance goals. • Establish relationships with independent HVAC installation contractors. • Negotiate and manage 3rd‑party partner agreements to meet reliability standards. • Review cost, quality, safety, and productivity metrics and implement improvement plans. • Partner with quality, project management, training, HR, and regulatory stakeholders to enhance team performance. • Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and exceed install gross margin targets.

What You Bring
We are looking for a self‑starter with a growth mindset, integrity and a sense of urgency. Candidates should have 3‑5 years of progressive field operations leadership experience and technical knowledge in the HVAC or water‑heater industry; a Gas Fitter 2 or 313d license and sales experience are assets. Demonstrated success in driving process control, productivity and quality improvements, along with strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities, is essential. The role also requires the ability to motivate teams, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and embrace change, with unionized‑environment experience considered a plus. • 3–5 years of progressive field operations leadership experience. • Knowledge and technical experience in HVAC and/or water heater industry. • Gas Fitter 2 or 313d license (asset) and sales experience meeting quotas (asset). • Proven track record in process control, productivity, and quality improvement. • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to build team spirit, motivate employees, and drive change.
