About the Role

• Produce end‑to‑end fiber optic networks. • Test and troubleshoot fiber continuity using OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and related equipment. • Operate and maintain testing tools such as fusion splicer, OTDR 1310/1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and power meter. • Prepare splice enclosures from Tyco, CommScope, Corning, and other manufacturers. • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, interpret documentation, and assess light levels and dB loss. • Perform work on outdoor utility construction sites, including ladder and bucket‑truck operations.

What You Bring

• Possess 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience. • Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and consistent high‑quality workmanship. • Exhibit strong problem‑solving abilities and a hands‑on approach. • Comfortable working at heights on ladders or bucket trucks. • Relevant MOS codes (V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699) are a plus.
