About the Role
The role prepares owner billings in accordance with contractual terms and ensures job costs are processed according to internal control procedures. It identifies and communicates areas of financial risk, manages relationships with subcontractors and the project management team, and delivers exceptional customer service and prompt payment. • Administer jobs with complex contractual issues (certified payroll, diversity & inclusion, prevailing wage, TIF requirements) • Prepare cost‑plus, cost‑plus GMP, or lump‑sum billings, billing all allowable costs promptly • Track subcontractor lien waivers • Utilize CMiC software for billing processes • Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including profit swings, late/unbilled activity, and account analysis • Highlight financial risks and recommend corrective actions • Produce ad‑hoc and specialized financial reporting for leadership • Review, sign, and approve client billings for project accountants • Train and mentor new hires • Manage special projects as needed • Facilitate job closeout by preparing accruals, reconciling, and analyzing profit/loss • Coordinate billing activities with the project team

What You Bring
• Require a B.S. in Accounting (business discipline preferred) • Minimum of 5+ years construction accounting experience • Preferred experience in construction or property management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and see projects through completion • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities
