About the Role
The paint department role involves supporting delivery schedules while maximizing productivity, setting up and operating powder‑coating equipment, preparing powder, firing ovens, adjusting settings for quality, and serving as the primary forklift driver. The position also requires strong communication, interpersonal, decision‑making, multitasking, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in varying temperatures, dust, and occasional chemical fumes. • Perform all paint department activities, supporting delivery schedules and maximizing productivity. • Set up and operate powder‑coating equipment, including powder preparation, oven firing, and quality‑adjustment settings. • Serve as the primary forklift driver for the department. • Build strong interpersonal relationships. • Work in seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fume exposure.
