About the Role

As a senior member of the JLL India HSSE team, you will implement and manage health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) programs for one of our key India Workplace Services (WD) accounts. The primary objective is to ensure that employees and sub‑contractors return home safely each day, while demonstrating leadership in HSSE and applying JLL’s HSSE and client management standards across the account. You will translate global WD HSSE and client strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, provide risk‑management guidance, and keep the account abreast of legislative changes. You will also lead incident investigations, maintain risk assessments, and support an effective HSSE communication plan for the account. In a leadership capacity you will foster a proactive safety culture, manage and develop the account HSSE team, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and third‑party vendors. You will ensure vendors comply with JLL WD and client HSSE standards, drive best‑practice training programs, and contribute to the global HSSE leadership team. • Implement global WD HSSE and client strategic objectives for the India account. • Provide HSSE risk‑management guidance and ensure compliance with legislation. • Conduct incident and accident investigations and maintain risk assessments. • Lead and develop the account HSSE team, fostering a proactive safety culture. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and third‑party vendors. • Ensure third‑party vendors adhere to JLL WD and client HSSE standards. • Drive development and delivery of best‑practice HSSE training programs. • Support HSSE regulatory compliance and manage change related to new legislation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience designing, implementing and managing HSSE programs, strong expertise in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and a proven record of managing multi‑site portfolios across countries. Excellent communication, interpersonal, audit and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders. This on‑site role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule. • Minimum 10 years experience developing, implementing and managing HSSE programs. • Proven expertise in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 development, implementation and auditing. • Experience managing HSSE across multiple sites and countries in a real‑estate environment. • Strong communication, interpersonal, audit, and leadership capabilities. • Ability to work independently, influence senior management and resolve issues proactively.
