About the Role

The position is responsible for creating short‑term production schedules using Sales & Operations Execution data and the Master Production Schedule, while also ensuring inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counting and overseeing the movement of materials within the facility. It monitors the execution of these schedules on the factory floor, coordinates labor, and handles any material availability issues by escalating them to the Center of Excellence and Network teams. The role drives forecast alignment with the integrated business plan, manages shipment timing to meet customer priority dates, and promotes continuous‑improvement practices such as visual management, standard work, and value‑stream mapping. Additionally, the incumbent maintains target inventory levels, meets on‑time‑delivery and freight objectives, and oversees plant data health activities including MRO, shipping and receiving, and part movements. • Generate short‑term production schedules aligned with S&OP and MPS. • Conduct regular cycle counts to keep inventory accuracy. • Oversee material receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation. • Coordinate labor and monitor production plan execution on the shop floor. • Escalate material shortages to COE and Network stakeholders. • Align forecasts and shipment schedules with customer priority dates. • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using MMA, OPA, visual management, standard work, and value‑stream mapping. • Achieve target inventory levels, on‑time‑delivery, and freight performance goals. • Manage plant data health tasks such as MRO, shipping/receiving, part movements, and scheduling. • Serve as primary escalation point for overall Master Production Schedule execution.

What You Bring

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of combined materials, operations, or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, three years of people‑leadership experience, and solid knowledge of SIOP, forecasting, BOM structuring, and ERP systems like Kinaxis Rapid Response, Maestro, or MFG‑Pro. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ combined materials/operations/supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment. • Possess at least three years of people‑leadership experience. • Demonstrate expertise in SIOP, forecasting techniques, bill‑of‑materials structuring, and ERP/MRP tools (preferably Kinaxis Rapid Response, Maestro, MFG‑Pro).
