About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will direct the account management function, set short‑ and long‑term client‑relationship strategies, and develop team objectives and performance metrics. Responsibilities include establishing data‑collection processes, facilitating action plans to resolve issues, and reporting project‑team progress to the executive team. Key duties involve market profit‑and‑loss oversight, collaborating with leadership to define long‑range goals, and working with marketing to assess new client potential. The manager will monitor project schedules and budgets, respond to client needs, mentor staff on core values, and travel up to 20 % of the time, including overnight stays. • Lead and mentor the project management team, including hiring and performance oversight. • Oversee execution of large utility‑scale renewable energy projects across the U.S., ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery. • Develop and implement client‑relationship strategies to generate new business and drive growth. • Establish data collection and monitoring processes to track account health and project performance. • Collaborate with executive leadership to assess proposal value, strategic alignment, and market potential. • Manage market profit‑and‑loss oversight and support long‑range planning with the leadership team. • Respond to client needs, conduct proactive client interactions, and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.

What You Bring

Required skills include strong written and verbal communication, business‑development acumen, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and extensive technical knowledge of utility‑scale renewable energy projects. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or similar tools, and demonstrate effective leadership and interpersonal management. A bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering Management or a related field is required, with a minimum of ten years leading multidisciplinary engineering or construction teams for renewable‑energy power generation. A Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain within six months) and PMP, PgMP, CAPM, CPMP or comparable certifications are highly desirable. • Travel up to 20 % of the time, including multi‑day overnight stays. • Require 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or construction teams in renewable energy. • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering Management, or related field; PME license and PMP‑type certifications preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or similar project‑management software.
