About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides prompt courteous waste removal, ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards, adheres to company, state, and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports. Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, report safety issues, operate the truck along assigned routes, read route sheets, lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose material at the designated facility. Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for violations, clean spills, maintain vehicle condition, clean the packer blade and truck body, complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports, meet productivity standards, follow safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
