About the Role
As a Production Support Engineer reporting to the Production Support Lead Engineer, you will serve as the engineering point of contact for the AAR build line and test facility, providing guidance to minimise manufacturing delays. You will regularly attend the Material Review Board to disposition non‑conforming hardware and work toward lead‑engineer approval for Non‑conformance Reports, as well as participate in the Product Integrity Council to address quality escapes. You will review supplier queries concerning parts, handle obsolescence issues and design questions, and manage engineering changes through the change review board to drive continuous improvement and apply systems‑engineering practices. Your role includes managing corrective and preventive actions using root‑cause analysis tools such as 5‑Why or 8D, liaising with cross‑functional engineering experts, and collaborating closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Programme teams to meet immediate delivery priorities. • Act as engineering point of contact for AAR build line and test facility, guiding to minimise delays. • Attend Material Review Board to disposition non‑conforming hardware and approve Non‑conformance Reports. • Participate in Product Integrity Council to resolve quality escapes. • Review supplier queries on parts, addressing obsolescence and design issues. • Manage engineering changes (drawings, test procedures) through change review board for continuous improvement. • Lead corrective and preventive actions using root‑cause analysis tools (5‑Why, 8D, etc.). • Liaise with cross‑functional engineering experts to support output. • Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Programme teams to meet delivery priorities.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has experience in mechanical, electromechanical, fluid, mechanisms or structures, is motivated, proactive and capable of juggling multiple tasks under pressure. A minimum HNC in an engineering discipline (or an engineering degree) combined with at least five years of post‑graduate experience is required, along with strong problem‑solving, solutions‑focused and people skills to integrate into the production support team and maintain positive customer relationships. • Possess experience in mechanical, electromechanical, fluid, mechanisms or structures. • Demonstrate motivation, proactivity, multi‑tasking ability and composure under pressure. • Hold at least an HNC (or engineering degree) plus five years post‑graduate experience. • Exhibit strong problem‑solving, solutions‑focused mindset and people skills for team and customer interaction.
