About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Transport Planner / Consultant to join our Business Case Advisory team. The role can be based in any UK office with a hybrid mix of home and office work, and will involve leading the technical delivery of high‑quality business cases that unlock public‑sector funding for transport infrastructure and operational solutions. • Manage technical delivery of high‑quality business cases to secure public‑sector funding for transport infrastructure and operations. • Project manage business‑case related projects in line with company business management systems. • Lead development and assurance of Commercial and Management Cases following HM Treasury’s Green Book and DfT guidance. • Manage technical and commercial responses for bid opportunities, including bid/no‑bid decisions. • Apply creative thinking to provide pragmatic advice that meets client needs. • Deliver projects effectively, meeting quality, time and budget targets. • Build trusted client relationships and represent WSP positively. • Collaborate and communicate effectively with UK and India teams and across the business. • Support colleague development through knowledge sharing.
