About the Role

The Account Manager serves as the conduit between rebate clients, operations teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely implementation of solutions that meet each client’s needs. Responsibilities include managing critical project information, securing necessary documentation, and maintaining up‑to‑date records in project databases. Success depends on building strong relationships with clients and executives, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maximizing results for both the client and Constellation. • Improve internal processes to optimize client relationship efficacy. • Identify and pursue new client accounts through networks, referrals, and other channels. • Maintain up‑to‑date, actionable client project records in the database. • Obtain required client documentation and coordinate with vendors to meet milestone deadlines. • Prioritize customer experience to increase trust and satisfaction. • Advise clients on best practices for maximizing ROI via incentives. • Develop sustainability roadmaps for large commercial & industrial companies and engage decision makers. • Lead small teams or manage projects effectively. • Stay current on energy‑efficiency technologies, trends, and rebate/incentive programs. • Deliver strong customer service and high‑value support to clients and vendors.

What You Bring

• Communicate effectively in person, by phone, or email. • Hold a bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience, or 9 years equivalent. • Provide at least 4 years of account, energy, program, or project management experience. • Include 2 years of experience in the energy or sustainability industry. • Demonstrate expertise in energy efficiency program management and sustainability consulting. • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Able to work rotating 24x7 shifts, on‑call, weekends, overtime, and holidays. • Understand building technologies and energy‑efficiency concepts. • Possess deep knowledge of competitive differentiation and energy‑management solutions. • Experience with Energy Star benchmarking and utility‑level incentive programs. • Background in renewable energy, EV networks, grid modernization, or related frameworks. • Communicate clearly across business units, functional groups, and external stakeholders. • Successful track record selling complex solutions in fast‑changing markets with long sales cycles.
