About the Role

The role’s primary purpose is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on assigned routes. Drivers must follow OSHA, DOT and company regulations, perform inspections, and keep the vehicle clean and safe. • Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards while maintaining a clean and safe truck. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and log any issues for repair. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. • Work with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers and carry out duties as assigned by Route Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or the Route Manager. • Dump containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris. • Submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed. • Position containers on the customer’s property with lids replaced, upright placement, and no blockage of driveways or traffic. • Complete all route documentation and check‑in at the end of the shift.

What You Bring
