About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at The Ramsay is responsible for delivering high‑quality move‑ins, ensuring resident satisfaction, and providing prompt, personalized service to residents. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs; responding quickly to resident requests; performing basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow‑removal tasks; and maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. The role may require on‑call emergency response, reporting maintenance concerns to the supervisor, and adhering to fair‑housing and safety regulations while attending required training and representing the company professionally. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, clean, general repairs). • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. • Perform basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow‑removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Participate in scheduled on‑call emergency response. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas. • Follow fair‑housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training and uphold company dress standards.

What You Bring
Competencies required are a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), the ability to read manuals and safety rules, compute measurements, solve routine problems, and write reports, as well as a commitment to follow all safety procedures. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, and a minimum of one year of related maintenance experience. The position operates in a professional office environment with regular travel between properties, requiring standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 lb, with up to 10 % travel time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Demonstrate ability to read manuals, calculate measurements, and write routine reports.

Benefits
