Assistant Manager-Horticulture

About the Role

The AM – Horticulture position in Gurgaon supports Property and Asset Management by ensuring high‑quality horticulture services. You will coordinate with site vendors for landscaping, assist the Team Manager/Property Manager on projects, and provide backup as needed. Key site deliverables include daily property rounds, closing landscaping matters, maintaining daily/monthly reports (DMR, MMR), and sharing them with the Property Manager and client. You will schedule weekly vendor meetings, prepare monthly attendance summaries for salary, and ensure all customer queries are investigated, resolved, or escalated appropriately. You will mentor and develop vendor staff, improve cost‑effective procedures, and help document standard policies. Planning, scheduling, inspecting, and assigning work to subordinate supervisors and teams, you will manage landscaping and gardening, enforce grooming standards, and implement checklists and safety guidelines for material handling. Additional responsibilities include supervising contractors, conducting inspections, acting as site supervisor for special projects, analyzing work volume and staffing requirements, providing technical know‑how, and capturing customer feedback to assess satisfaction. • Coordinate daily horticulture services and liaise with site vendors for landscaping. • Conduct daily property rounds and address landscaping issues promptly. • Maintain daily and monthly reports (DMR, MMR) and share them with the Property Manager and client. • Schedule and lead weekly vendor meetings to discuss operational issues. • Prepare monthly attendance summaries for staff salary processing. • Investigate, resolve, and, when necessary, escalate customer queries. • Mentor and develop vendor staff, including training gardeners and temporary laborers. • Assist in improving procedures for cost‑effective, efficient horticulture services. • Develop and maintain documentation of standard policies and procedures. • Plan, schedule, inspect, and assign work to subordinate supervisors and teams. • Oversee landscaping and gardening tasks while ensuring staff are well‑groomed. • Implement checklists and enforce safety guidelines for material handling. • Supervise contractors, conduct site inspections, and act as supervisor for special projects. • Analyze work volume and staffing requirements, recommending performance enhancements. • Provide technical expertise to the site team and capture customer feedback for satisfaction assessment.

What You Bring

The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager/Property Manager and is based on the One Qube commercial site in Gurugram, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule. Required qualifications are a degree or diploma in Agriculture (BSc preferred) with 4–5 years of experience, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
