About the Role
The Assistant will perform typical clerical duties, operate office equipment, manage incoming calls, and maintain both paper and electronic records. They will also handle deliveries, prepare outbound shipments, and organize meeting materials while recording meeting minutes for various site meetings. Additional duties include procuring consumable supplies, supporting the superintendent with equipment inventory and craft worker timecards, and providing general project team support such as scheduling truck maintenance and guiding visitors. • Perform clerical tasks and operate basic office equipment • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages as needed • File and maintain written and electronic records • Receive, sort, and log deliveries in a computer database • Prepare daily outbound deliveries and meeting materials • Record and update minutes for various site meetings • Procure consumable materials and office supplies • Assist Superintendent with equipment inventory tracking • Support Superintendent with entry of craft worker timecards • Provide general project team support and schedule truck maintenance • Give maps and directions to visitors, subcontractors, and new employees • Log craft applicant data into the tracking spreadsheet

Mortenson is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, efficiency, and a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates should hold an associate’s degree in business or a related field and possess at least three years of administrative experience, preferably supporting large teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, calendar systems, and PowerPoint is required, along with a solid working knowledge of basic office equipment.
