About the Role

In this position you will manage all aspects of apartment rentals, from attracting and assessing prospective residents to completing lease documentation and coordinating move-in procedures. Direct interaction with both prospective and current residents is essential to maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction. Key duties include creating applicant files, verifying qualifications, processing applications within 24 hours, and leading tours of vacant and model units. You will also maintain courteous communication with residents, track daily traffic and interactions, promote retention programs, and ensure units are ready for showing. Collaboration with the office team, market research, marketing activities, and timely follow-up with prospects are also required, along with strict adherence to Fair Housing Laws. • Manage apartment rentals from prospecting to lease signing and move‑in. • Create applicant files, verify qualifications, and process applications within 24 hours. • Conduct tours of vacant and model units, highlighting features to prospects. • Maintain daily communication with residents and track occupancy metrics. • Promote resident retention programs and ensure unit readiness for showing. • Collaborate with office staff and assist with property tasks as needed. • Research market competition and execute marketing activities such as flyers and mailings. • Follow up with prospects at least five times and respond promptly to inquiries. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and company policies. • Provide outstanding customer service with strong interpersonal and sales skills.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, with leasing or sales experience considered a plus, a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a sales focus, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service are essential. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and prior customer service experience (leasing/sales a plus). • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for multi‑property travel.
