About the Role

As the senior HR leader, you will strategically align HR initiatives with business goals, drive decisions that reflect company values, and ensure consistent implementation of best practices across regions, departments, and headquarters. You will lead and develop HR directors and their teams, building high‑performing structures, providing professional development, succession planning, and fostering coaching and mentoring relationships to strengthen bench strength. Responsibilities include delivering performance feedback, championing diversity and inclusion programs, overseeing talent management processes, managing complex legal and compliance matters in partnership with employee relations and legal counsel, and defining HR key performance indicators to improve employee engagement. • Lead HR initiatives and teams across multiple locations, regions, and departments. • Align HR strategies with business objectives and company core values. • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute regional and headquarters business plans. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to HR directors and staff. • Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. • Manage talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning processes. • Oversee complex legal and compliance issues in collaboration with employee relations and legal counsel. • Define, track, and analyze HR key performance indicators and employee survey results. • Drive continuous improvement and lean practices within HR operations. • Influence senior leaders and act as a valued business partner to increase decision‑making authority. • Manage HR budgets, cost trends, and present executive summaries to senior HR leadership. • Travel nationally to various sites, including construction locations, as required.

What You Bring

The position is based in Dallas, TX, within the Dallas Main division of Turner. It serves as a key partner to senior leadership of Business Center 4 across one or more locations or departments. The role reports as a regular, salaried exempt employee and requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of experience. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, a minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership, and preferred certifications such as SPHR® or SHRM‑SCP®. Experience in large construction organizations and strong knowledge of HR policy and employment law are essential. Travel is required and may involve air, train, or vehicle, with occasional on‑site work at construction sites. Physical demands include frequent sitting, computer work, and the ability to lift up to 10 lb regularly and up to 25 lb occasionally.
