About the Role

The carpenter will plan, lay out, and perform all types of carpentry work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role may also include work in other trades at levels appropriate to training and skills as directed by project supervision. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time. • Apply high proficiency in trade mathematics. • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance, explain deficiencies, and take corrective action. • Identify improvement opportunities, share knowledge, and teach others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards; use trade tools and equipment effectively. • Perform tasks requiring reaching above shoulder height, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing, and balancing on frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Use hands frequently to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects; lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb occasionally. • Navigate confined and uneven spaces; work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Use telephone, computer, email, or electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Participate in employee stock ownership plan and 401(k). • Participate in workplace wellness programs. • Contribute to Sundt Foundation charitable employee‑owner program.

What You Bring
