About the Role
Mechanics are vital to keeping all equipment and processes operating efficiently and safely. Each day you will perform a mix of repairs and preventative maintenance on conveyors, liquid‑filling equipment, pumps, valves, balers, taping machines, and other packaging machinery. At all times you must work with safety in mind while responding quickly to equipment needs. • Diagnose and safely repair mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical equipment issues. • Perform scheduled maintenance such as lubrication, specialized cleaning, and part replacement to prevent downtime. • Conduct facility upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and painting tasks. • Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

What You Bring
To thrive as a Maintenance Mechanic with Behr, you must have exceptional troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. You will use a variety of tools—including soldering equipment, drills, measuring devices, and hand tools—to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical issues. Reading work orders and schematic drawings, operating a forklift, and adhering to safety protocols such as wearing a respirator are also required. • 3+ years of mechanical experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, motor, gearbox, and conveyor systems. • 2+ years of electrical experience reading schematics, working 24VDC‑480VAC circuits, and troubleshooting PLCs (preferred). • Proficiency with standard shop tools and basic PLC knowledge. • Ability to operate a forklift safely. • High school diploma or GED required.

Benefits
The position is full‑time, based in the United States, and falls under Shift 3. The hiring range is $26.25‑$41.14 USD, with actual compensation varying based on experience, education, location, and skills.
