About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. This role includes ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards, adhering to all state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key responsibilities involve performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets and maps, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of material at designated facilities. The driver must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, and clean spills according to safety policies while maintaining vehicle cleanliness. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Operate collection truck safely on assigned routes, loading and disposing waste. • Follow route sheets, maps, and dispatcher instructions to service customers. • Use manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and unload refuse. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. • Identify, tag, and report unsatisfactory waste containers. • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean spills per safety standards. • Maintain vehicle cleanliness by removing waste from packer blade and truck body. • Complete route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports. • Meet departmental productivity standards and participate in ReSOP safety program. • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations.

What You Bring
