About the Role
The Senior Specialist, SPV will join Brookfield Credit’s Investment Operations team, reporting to the Director of SPV. The position supports operational and middle‑office functions for Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) and Collateralized Fund Obligation (CFO) portfolios and works closely with the Senior Vice President of Investment Operations and other investment professionals. • Manage trade settlement and life‑cycle for public and private assets within Brookfield SPVs. • Book and settle trades across multiple custodians. • Reconcile cash and position data with administrators. • Perform post‑trade and hypothetical testing to ensure compliance with investment limits. • Create ad‑hoc reports for client and internal requests. • Support onboarding and KYC for borrowers and counterparties. • Coordinate with investment, legal, and accounting teams and promptly escalate issues. • Partner with technology services to integrate enhancements and drive system implementation projects. • Assist in complex transaction execution, product launches, closures, and related initiatives.

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; CPA, CFA or CAIA preferred. • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field. • Deep knowledge of CLO structures, leveraged finance and structured products. • Experience with trade life‑cycle processes for alternative assets and fixed income. • Ability to interpret complex legal/structural documents into operational requirements. • Proficiency in settlement and reconciliation procedures. • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI, VBA or similar tools. • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking in fast‑paced, complex environments. • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy. • Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels. • Effective prioritization to meet internal and external deadlines. • High professional ethics and integrity.
