About the Role

The Coordinator will align BIM workflows with project goals and BIM Execution Plans, develop and maintain high‑quality Civil 3D and Revit models, and integrate scheduling and cost data into the BIM environment. Collaboration will occur within a Common Data Environment, supporting documentation control, model sharing, and coordination across design teams, consultants, and contractors. • Coordinate BIM workflows and align them with project goals and BIM Execution Plans. • Develop and manage LOD 400/500 models for handover and asset management, ensuring as‑built accuracy and metadata compliance. • Oversee Civil 3D and Revit models for roads, utilities, bridges, landscapes, and other civil infrastructure elements. • Integrate 4D scheduling and 5D cost data into the BIM environment. • Maintain model and data integrity throughout design, construction, and operation phases. • Collaborate within a Common Data Environment for documentation control, model sharing, and coordination. • Liaise with design teams, consultants, and contractors to communicate BIM requirements. • Provide technical support and BIM software training to project stakeholders. • Create and maintain project‑specific BIM documentation, standards, and templates (e.g., EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, asset register, COBie). • Perform clash detection and lead design coordination meetings using Navisworks or similar tools. • Support digital delivery initiatives and smart infrastructure objectives. • Produce and review LOD, LOI, and clash matrices during the construction stage for infrastructure projects. • Ensure shop drawings and as‑built drawings are generated from coordinated BIM Civil 3D models.

Parsons is seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator with a strong infrastructure background to support the delivery of complex civil and infrastructure projects. The role requires hands‑on experience with LOD 400 and 500 modeling, asset information management, and the integration of 4D (time) and 5D (cost) data, ensuring digital deliverables meet client BIM standards. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have at least five years of BIM coordination experience on infrastructure projects, particularly at the construction stage (LOD 400/500). Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and CDE platforms such as BIM 360/ACC or ProjectWise, as well as knowledge of ISO 19650 or PAS 1192 standards, is required. • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. • Minimum five years of BIM coordination experience on infrastructure projects, focusing on construction stage (LOD 400/500). • Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D (mandatory), Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC, ProjectWise, or comparable CDE platforms. • Experience delivering LOD 500 BIM models for operational use and asset management. • Strong understanding of 4D time/schedule simulation and 5D cost estimation using Synchro or CostX. • Familiarity with ISO 19650, PAS 1192, or local BIM standards. • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities. • Expertise in Civil 3D object catalog creation, including part lists, subassembly composer, and custom 3D objects with attributes. • Knowledge of IFC and open BIM workflows. • Experience with asset tagging, COBie data structures, and facilities‑management systems for infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in Power BI, Synchro, Primavera, or similar tools for 4D/5D workflows. • BIM certifications such as Autodesk Civil 3D, RICS, Revit, or ISO 19650. • Experience with construction progress monitoring tools like OpenSpace or HoloBuilder.
