About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager, Multi-family will drive market share and profitable growth within the multi-family housing segment. The role focuses on building trusted, long-term relationships with national and regional developers, owners, operators and asset managers to shape specifications, influence buying decisions and expand Delta’s presence across new construction, renovation and MRO opportunities. • Build and nurture relationships with owners, developers, designers and influencers in the multi-family sector. • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to drive specifications, brand preference and revenue growth. • Lead RFPs, negotiations and project support from concept through construction administration. • Identify early-stage projects, deliver product presentations, CEUs and design consultations to influence specifications. • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and account plans with market analysis, revenue goals and measurable outcomes. • Analyze data and trends to improve customer retention and drive revenue. • Collaborate with marketing, tradeshow, product launch, project sales, regional sales, distribution and customer service teams. • Provide Voice of Customer feedback to product development and marketing.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires leveraging deep market insight, a consultative selling approach and cross-functional collaboration to develop and execute account strategies that align customer priorities with Delta’s full portfolio of solutions. The manager will be accountable for accelerating growth through strategic partnerships, increasing share of wallet within targeted accounts and delivering measurable business outcomes for both customers and the organization. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and have at least five years of sales or sales-management experience. Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects, travel up to 60 % and work collaboratively across product, marketing, finance and operations teams. • Minimum 5 years of sales or sales‑management experience; bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical capabilities; ability to manage multiple projects and travel ~60 %. • Preferred experience in commercial interiors, residential design, multi-family or hospitality segments; selling building products or durable goods; familiarity with CRM and sales analytics tools; proven success managing long sales cycles. • Strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence, ability to influence at all levels, and results‑driven focus on exceeding targets and customer satisfaction.
