About the Role

• Participate in safety and quality programs, mentoring for an injury‑free environment. • Perform entry‑level mechanical, electrical, and field construction tasks. • Develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating software. • Review mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and conduct systems analysis. • Create mechanical and electrical scopes of work for the bid process. • Assist with bid analysis and provide input for subcontractor selection. • Develop sequencing requirements and propose solutions to meet schedule constraints. • Identify potential design quality issues and produce constructability review reports. • Conduct job inspections to ensure specifications, quality, and timely completion. • Manage shop drawing and submittal processes to comply with contract documents. • Support commissioning by preparing checklists, testing procedures, and performing functional testing. • Generate and execute project commissioning plans independently. • Lead mechanical/electrical coordination and communicate deliverables to project teams and clients. • Participate in all construction phases from startup through closeout to ensure successful delivery. • Develop schedules for mechanical and electrical systems and report site inspection findings. • Represent JE Dunn in job pursuit presentations with mechanical/electrical expertise.

What You Bring

• Perform accurate, complete work on schedule; communicate effectively (verbal & written). • Proficient in Microsoft Office and JE Dunn M/E tools; read and interpret plans and specifications. • Understand construction management methods and collaborate with internal and external teams. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) and have 2+ years of construction/engineering experience.
