Senior Project Manager - MEP

About the Role

The role leads MEP delivery for large‑scale infrastructure under a PMC framework, managing scope in line with FIDIC Red Book conditions and coordinating design interfaces among contractors, consultants and PMC teams. It ensures compliance with infrastructure standards and authority requirements, identifies design risks, manages variations, and supports cost and programme control while providing leadership to MEP teams and supervision consultants. • Lead MEP delivery on large‑scale infrastructure projects under a PMC framework • Manage MEP scope in accordance with FIDIC Red Book conditions and contractual obligations • Coordinate design interfaces among contractor, consultant and PMC teams • Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards and authority requirements (ADM, ITC, TAQA, ADCD) • Identify design risks, manage variations, and support cost and programme control • Liaise with authorities and multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical issues • Provide leadership to MEP teams and supervision consultants • Deliver high‑quality design outputs through effective reporting and decision‑making

Candidates must have at least 15 years of relevant experience, including five years in the UAE, and a proven track record delivering large‑scale infrastructure packages under FIDIC contracts. Experience with main contractors, supervision consultants, and PMC roles on projects exceeding AED 500 million, familiarity with Estidama and sustainability standards, and proficiency in design review tools and project management software are essential. Arabic language ability is an advantage. • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE • Proven track record managing large‑scale infrastructure packages under FIDIC Red Book contracts • Experience working with main contractors and supervision consultants on major projects • Involvement in PMC roles for projects exceeding AED 500 million in value • Familiarity with Estidama, sustainability requirements and local authority approval processes • Proficiency with design review tools, MS Office and project management software • Arabic language skills are a plus
